Beijing Design Week 2014

‘IIIIII’ is the subsequent development of “The Wiremap Principle” and was successfully implemented within Beijing Design Week 2014.

The installation displays a holographic, 3-dimensional illusion in a volumetric corpus by placing a projector in front of it and mapping every single of its hundreds strings. This project is in the same way a technical and designing challenge, as the whole construction and its positioning have a tolerance down to 0.02%. It also, literally, opens a new dimension for content designers as well as the audience and will push everyone a little into a rethink-process of how the interaction between humans and 3D-content could look like in the future.
